De Vondeltuin – Guy Verbeek

De Vondeltuin Identity

As you might understand by now, this pavillion is located in the Vondelpark, a.k.a. the lungs of Amsterdam.
The old place was torn down and completely rebuilt, a 100% circulair wonderfull buillding
up to date to the standards of nowadays gastronomy. Read more about it here.

The typography is inspired by classic lettering found troughout the city streets,
combined with patterns based on Indonesian batik fabrics, since the park and some of
it's buildings were originally designed like a indonesian garden layout.

So far for my history lecture, just go there and have a cold one in the sun.
